The Animal Foundation offers the following services:

Adoptions

On any given day The Animal Foundation houses anywhere from 350-400 cats and dogs available for adoption to good homes.  In addition to cats and dogs, you may find bunnies, birds, rodents and reptiles.  All cats and dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered at adoption.  You will receive a free 5 lb bag of Hills’ Science Diet food and a list of clinics that will perform a free wellness check within 10 days of adoption.

Lost and Found

You may search our online database for your lost pet.  The Animal Foundation houses lost animals for 72 hours.  After this time, based on medical and behavioral evaluations, the animal may be made available for adoption.  If your animal has been missing for more than 72 hours, please look for them in our adoptions area as well.

Low Cost Shot Clinic

Low cost vaccinations are available in our clinic.  The clinic is open for walk-ins Monday through Friday from 3 PM - 6 PM (must be signed in by 5 PM) - Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Microchips

Microchipping your animal is a necessary part of responsible pet ownership.  One in three dogs will be lost in their lifetime.  Ensuring your animal has been implanted with a microchip and that your information is always current can be the difference between your animal returning home and your family’s heartache.

Click here for more information on Microchips.

Rabies Tags

Rabies vaccinations are available in our Low Cost Shot Clinic.  Your animal will be issued a rabies tag and 2 rabies certificates as proof your pet's vaccinations are current.  If your pet loses its rabies tag, no new tag will be issued by the Lied Animal Shelter.
